LED light strip purchase to see these six points
There are many categories of LED light strips. How to choose a light strip among the dazzling light strip categories? The purchase of LED light strips is a skill. When purchasing LED light strips, you can identify the quality of the light strips from the following 6 points: 1. Look at the solder joints The light strips produced by regular LED light strip manufacturers are produced by SMT patch process, solder paste and reflow soldering process. Therefore, the solder joints on the LED light strips are relatively smooth and the amount of solder is not much, and the solder joints are semicircular. The arc extends from the FPC pad to the LED electrode, while the amount of solder in the solder joints of the copycat LED strip is uneven, and more than one dot wraps the solder feet, and there will be tin tips to varying degrees. This is manual soldering. typical phenomenon 2. Look at the packaging Regular LED light strips will be packaged in anti-static coils, usually 5 meters or 10 meters, and then sealed with anti-static and moisture-proof packaging. The reel, and then there is no anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bag. If you look closely at the reel, you can see that there are traces and scratches left when the label is removed. 3. Look at the labels Regular LED strip packaging tapes and reels will have printed labels instead of printed labels, while the copycat version of the label is printed, and the specifications and parameters are not uniform. 4. Look at the cleanliness of the LED strip surface If the LED light strip produced by the SMT process has a very good surface cleanliness, no impurities and stains can be seen, but if the hand-welded LED light strip is used, no matter how the surface is cleaned, there will be stains and cleaning traces left. At the same time, there will be flux and slag residues on the surface of the FPC. 5. Look at FPC quality FPC is divided into two types: copper-clad and rolled copper. The copper foil of the copper-clad plate is protruding. If you look closely, you can see it from the connection between the pad and the FPC. The rolled copper is closely connected with the FPC and can be bent arbitrarily. If the copper-clad plate is bent too much, the pads will fall off. If the temperature is too high during maintenance, the pads will fall off. 6. Look at the attachment Regular LED light strips will be accompanied by instructions for use and light strip specifications in the packaging box, and will also be equipped with LED light strip connectors or card holders, while the knockoff LED light strip packaging box does not have these accessories.
